The Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is a 50 Km2 national park located on Zanzibar island.
It is the only national park in Zanzibar. This forest is inhabited by the Zanzibar Red Colobus, an endemic
monkey species that exists only in Zanzibar.
Jozani Forest boasts a rich diversity of native wildlife, including swamp forest, evergreen thicket and
mangrove. Red colobus monkeys are endemic to Unguja. These monkeys are very playful and you can easily get
close to them. Monkeys can be seen frolicking amongst the exotic indigenous flora. Spend some time
